Description
A riveting feature for your garden
This is a striking handmade topiary sculpture of two crossed riveting hammers similar to those that would’ve been used by Thames Ironworks and Shipbuilding Company in London to build the HMS Warrior. It will add an admirable talking point to your garden or patio.
Made from steel and ivy for strength and durability
The crossed hammers are 66cm high excluding the height of the pot. The sculpture is made from hand shaped steel around which the ivy plants are delicately woven. (These are usually made with ivy, but we can offer ilex crenata plants also)
These hardy evergreen plants are perfect for this type of topiary sculpture as they are highly durable, immune to box-blight and easy to care for.
Easy to maintain, no specialist knowledge required
After our topiary artist completes the sculpture, no specialist knowledge is required to maintain it, so this piece is suitable for all types of gardener.
Novice and experienced gardeners alike will derive great pleasure from the calming and therapeutic process of clipping back the new growth in order to maintain the intricate crossed hammers shape. There’s no need to worry about clipping too much as the steel frame will provide a guide to help you to keep the topiary sculpture looking great for years to come.
A limited edition run
This is a limited edition run and only available for a short time so each sculpture will be supplied with a certificate of authenticity signed by the sculptor.
These crossed hammers will add a striking feature to your garden or patio that you will enjoy caring for for many years to come
