Ligustrum delavayanum
Eagle on stem Topiary Sculpture
210cm

£1,195.00

Delivered in 2-3 Weeks

Height: 212cm including stem (actual height of Eagle: 80cm)
Length: 155cm
Depth: 105cm

This Eagle frame has been handwelded from steel wire and covered in ligustrum delavaynum (box-leaf privet).

The stem of this Ligustrum plant is very tall, and has been concealed by several oak branches, so the eagle appears to be perched on a tall branch.

The plants are woven onto the frame, so that the entire piece is covered in leaves.
All you have to do is clip it into shape throughout the growing seaon and keep it fed and watered!

An evergreen plant with oval green leaves. White flowers in early summer if not clipped.

Ligustrum delavayanum prefers full sun or partial shade and well-drained soil. Water regularly but sparingly during growing season. Water less during winter, only make sure the root ball does not dry out. Feed regularly during growing season with fertiliser. Feed more often during flowering. Prune into shape in late spring or summer.
